Today, our journey becomes even more significant. After breakfast, we begin a scenic 8-hour drive towards New Dongba. Along the way, we will pass through Lalung La Pass (5,300m), offering magnificent views of the Himalayas and the wide, rugged Tibetan landscape. You’ll also get glimpses of Mt. Shisha Pangma (8,000m) and Lake Pikuchu. As we approach Saga, we’ll cross the sacred Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Saga via Dongba.

After our breakfast at Saga, you will be driving to the highest fresh water lake in the world, the holy Mansarovar Lake, lying at an altitude of 4558 meters, stretching wide with a pristine greenish-blue color. The holy lake is believed to be the resting place of Lord Bishnu. It is surrounded by Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurula-Mandata, and the Lake Rakshasha (Rakshash Taal). The Rakshash Taal is believed to be created by the Evil King Ravan, and the locals believe the water is poisonous. Overnight at guest house around Lake Mansarovar.

We will embark on a three-day parikrama. We first drive to the small settlement of Tarboche, also called as Darboche. It is the starting point of the Kailash Kora, and is also known as the Valley of Gods. Yamadwar, the gatewat of the God of Death, is located here in Tarboche. We will walk for a few hours to arrive at the settlement of Derapuk, settling right in front of the North Face of Mt. Kailash. Overnight and rest at a guest house.

Among the three days of Kora, today is the longest and the most difficult day. We will be heading towards the village of Jarok Donkhang first, and hike towards the Shiva-stal. We will rest for some time, and take a steep downhill and get to the banks of Lham-chu Khir river. We catch sight of the Holy Pond of ‘Gaurikunda’. We reach the village of Juthulpuk. The famous cave of Juthulpuk, Zruthulpuk cave, also known as ‘the miracle cave’. We will also catch sight of the Buddha’s Footprints along the way. Overnight at a guest house.

After breakfast, enjoy a short drive to the Friendship Bridge (47 km), where you'll complete the immigration formalities on both the Nepal and China sides. After completing the immigration procedures at the Nepal-Tibet border, we will drive back to Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu. Cross the border and begin the scenic drive back to Kathmandu (140 km), following a thrilling, adventurous route. After an exciting journey, you'll arrive in Kathmandu and check-in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

The Kailash Yatra is conducted under Chinese Authorities and Foreign Exchange Center Tibetan Autonomous Region (FEC TAR), hence, Ouro Travels will not be liable to any last minute changes, any unforeseen circumstances, and emergency circumstances and evacuations, flight delays, extra nights to be stayed, natural disasters, altitude sickness and rescue. Any extra costs incurred shall be borne by the clients themselves.
After confirming to travel with Ouro Travel and Tours, you are required to book a trip 3 months (90 days) before the start of the trip to ensure maximum safety and satisfaction of the clients.
The customer receives the payment confirmation receipt via email within 60 minutes of successful booking and confirmation voucher will be released via email within 48 hours of deposit.
At least 30% of the total cost should be deposited during the time of booking or the amount that has been agreed during the correspondence has to be deposited as an advance.

If cancellations are made with 45 days or more before the scheduled departure from your country, the company will charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total trip amount.
If cancellations are made with between 25 to 44 days or more before the scheduled departure from your country, the company will charge a cancellation fee of 45-50% of the total trip amount.
If cancellations are made with between 24 Days and the last week before the scheduled departure from your country, the company will charge a cancellation fee ranging from 65% to 70% of the total trip amount.
Once your trip has commenced (started), there will be no refund available for any unused services or portions of the trip.
The cancellation fee is subject to processing fee from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB)- Central Bank of Country, thus, cancellation amount will be refunded to you after deducting the processing charge of NRB.
